Small industries aren’t listening to the recession talk as of late- they’re continuing to invest, develop and hire at historically high levels
There’s been a lot of talk of recession lately but small and medium-sized businesses, for the most part, don’t seem to be listening.
That’s the conclusion from the National Federation of Independent Business( NFIB ). The business group’s most recent smallbusinessoptimismindex, released Tuesday, fell somewhat. But don’t let that clown you. The indicator- which has been quantified quarterly since 1973 and monthly since 1986- remains extremely strong, coming in among the top 15% of its historical levels.
